What is Retrofitting?

"Retrofitting" is defined by State and local ordinance requirements. Retrofitting must be done by close of escrow. This service involves the act of modifying, upgrading, replacing, and/or installing specific elements in a dwelling in order to facilitate compliance with the safety and conservation requirements of city and state ordinances.

Feder's Retrofitting specializes in helping the Real Estate Industry and sellers of real property with the installation of water heater straps, smoke detectors, ultra low-flow toilets, window glazing and safety and/or water conservation devices, required by local and state ordinances, prior to the close of escrow.
